You have found amusement playing with the "Elevator Music" ballpens, got fairly buzzed on their "Grauburgunder Kabinett dry” wine and now? Trüby Trio strike again, here´s the second release off freshly-released first album "Elevator Music”. Energetic and trippy "A Festa” and two new Jaleo remixes deluxe by the likes of Senor Coconut and Cuica.
A Festa: Bossa Nova ain’t too far away from Drum And Bass. Doubling the beats up, keeping the Brazilian funkiness, this one comes strong in the best Trio tradition. Organic grooves man Mike T. out of New York spices it up with some bongo action.
On Side B: we´re greeted by Simone Serritella and Pete Herbert aka Cuica. Describing their sound as "pure entertainment prime-time beats with a Brazilian twist” the Italian / English duo reinvented the first single off the new Trüby Trio album, "Jaleo”, for the tribal dancefloor with few vocals, casual beeps, slight delicate house and emphasized drums. Notice the answerphone message at the end of the track. Prime time indeed.
